The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission has identified "several" people who were caught on viral video dumping two large bins of trash into the ocean from a boat after attending the Boca Bash on Sunday.

FWC is working with the state attorney's office on appropriate charges.

Investigators are asking people involved in the incident to come forward by contacting the Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-3922.

Earlier this week, we reported that organizers of the unsanctioned "Boca Bash" had said the boaters were apparently paranoid about getting pulled over, making it clear that they don't condone operating a vessel while intoxicated.

Under Florida law, those illegally dumping more than 15 pounds of waste into a waterway could face a first-degree misdemeanor.

According to reports, twenty people attending the event have been arrested for boating under the influence, including at least one man who was caught with cocaine on his vessel.
